This is an overview of the Linframe system components
1: Vertical cavity closer / shutter guide. This unique design of cavity closer acts as a guide for the roller shutter and protects the shutter guide from attack being inside the wall construction. Shellcast cavity closer provides 30 minute fire protection to prevent the spread of fire within the cavity. 2: Connection elbows. These ridged and highly robust corners connect the vertical cavity closer to the horizontal one to form a sub frame. 3: Bottom cavity closer. This cavity closer caps off the bottom of a cavity and also has an extended flange running under the guide allowing the bottom of the guide to be securely sealed from the elements 4: Top timber. This is a temporary timber batten supplied by Shellcast to created a sub frame former, this ensures that the openings are built with extreme accuracy, a critical step in ensuring the performance of the security shutter. 5: Wall ties Inner and outer ties are supplied to secure the cavity closer, however the Shellcast cavity guide has been designed specifically to allow a fixing of the guide to any construction material (ie Timber Frame).
